Support a Young Man Who Wishes to Attend University

When we formed The Godfreds Foundation our mission was to bring quality education to children in a small village in Ghana. With over 400 children in attendance at our school, and our first class to graduate from Junior High next year we have decided to expand our mission to include a scholarship program for deserving young adults in Africa to attend University. Let me introduce you to the first young man we have designated to receive this scholarship.

Garo is an orphan from the small West African nation of Togo. Defying the odds, Garo has been admitted to the National Institute of Teaching and Education program at the University of Marseille in France. Approval of his student visa depends on having proof of €8000 in a French bank account through a French agency in Togo. (This is a standard requirement for students originating from developing countries, because it signals that the student will return to his country of origin if/when his visas expire). Garo has until June 30th to raise these funds. This is an opportunity to have an indelible impact on a high-achieving individual who started life with absolutely nothing, but has risen above his circumstances through perseverance and education. All donations are tax-deductible and will go through the Godfreds Foundation, which I founded 8 years ago. I have known Garo for 7 years and can personally attest to his intelligence, grit, and moral character. Please help us empower Garo to achieve his full potential in this world.

Thank you in advance for considering a donation to help Garo reach his goal of higher education.
